Five Star Urgent Care Fairmount hosted a grand opening event today for its new facility located 3504 West Genesee Street. Event attendees celebrated the new center with a ribbon cutting ceremony, tours of the facility, met Five Star Urgent Care’s experienced and trained staff, and enjoyed refreshments.
The event was attended by local officials including Mary Anne Coogan, Supervisor for the Town of Camillus; Mike Laflair, Second Ward Councilperson for the Town of Camillus; Andrew DeLuca, District Outreach Coordinator for U.S. Congressman Daniel Maffei; Darcie Lesniak from the office of Chairman J. Ryan McMahon, Onondaga County Legislature; members of the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce; members of the Camillus Chamber of Commerce; and leaders of the Syracuse medical community.
Five Star’s Fairmount facility is conveniently located on West Genesee Street near Wegmans, and is open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The company first began treating patients in the Syracuse area last May when it opened a new urgent care facility on Route 11 in Cicero. Five Star Urgent Care can treat all of life’s non-emergent medical needs, and offers x-rays and lab testing on-site. Most insurances are accepted, and no appointment is needed.
